Every Scout needs to sell 10 Camp Cards or pay Pack 380 $55 for Dues

Dues pay for for awards/advancement, Pinewood Derby, adult leader registration, and other budgeted Pack and Den activities.

Camp Card Fundraiser

WHAT:  Scouts sell discount cards and earn a commission to pay for Scouting fees. Cards sell for $10 each and our Unit earns 45% Commission. 

WHY: To help teach “A Scout is Thrifty” and to “Earn Their Own Way”, the Pack has Fundraising. 

WHEN: February-April


WHERE: Ace Hardware, Door to door in your neighborhood, parents' employers. Social Media link for friends and family.

The more you sell, the more you earn, and there are prizes! 

We'll have prizes at the Pinewood Derby (March 8) for each Scout selling at least 10. As an extra incentive we'll also give the top 2 sellers an opportunity to pie a consenting adult leader in the face!

If Scouts would like to sell more than 10 cards and use their commission toward personal scout expenses please let us know. We can order more cards to help you reach your goals. There are cumulative bonus prizes for every 50 cards you sell.


2025 Guidebook

If the Scout transfers to a different Pack or Troop, we will transfer their balance to the new group. If the Scout leaves Scouting America, they will forfeit their commissions and the commissions will be absorbed by Pack 380.

Volunteer

The Camp Card Coordinator is looking for volunteers to help orders camp cards for our Pack, reserve sales locations, coordinate signups for sales locations, fill orders, pick up and track inventory. 


Set SMART goals for units and individuals to pay for dues, fees, summer camp, etc.

1/16 Pick Up Camp Cards at January Roundtable.

Kick off at Tuesday Meeting after Camp Cards received. Recognize and encourage sellers at unit meeting. Role play dos and don'ts.  


February-April Pack Sells Camp Cards. Coordinator tracks inventory

4/17 Settle Camp Cards & Submit for Prizes. Submit money and unsold camp cards by April 17th roundtable You can return 25% of unsold. Over 25% have $0.50 restocking fee. No refunds for additional cards ordered.
